The MUEs are edits developed by CMS to reduce the paid claims error rate for Part B claims. An MUE for a HCPCS/CPT code is the maximum units of service that a provider would report under most circumstances for a single beneficiary on a single date of service.

• ASCO - Tobacco Cessation and Control Resources There is a growing body of evidence that suggests tobacco use by cancer patients can complicate a wide variety of treatments, including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and surgery. However, patients already diagnosed with cancer can still benefit greatly from quitting tobacco use. Oncology providers have a responsibility to help their patients with tobacco cessation strategies in order to reduce complications and improve patient outcomes.

• LLS’ Complimentary Online Continuing Education The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) offers complimentary online continuing education (CE) activities for healthcare professionals.
